There are two searches on this page. The first uses (partial) ingredient name or active ingredient code and returns matching active ingredient names and synonyms. The second returns products containing an active ingredient, specified by code number; the products returned may be optionally restricted by pesticide use or type.

Search for Ingredient Name Synonyms/Codes

For this search, you may specify all or part of the name or you may enter the Active Ingredient Code to see name synonyms for that code. From the results screen, you can search for products that use a particular active ingredient.

If you enter both a partial active ingredient name and an active ingredient code and select “any fields match” in the “Find records if” selector, the results will include any active ingredients that match the entered name or have a matching code number.

Select the “Submit” button to perform the search.

Search for Products by Ingredient Code, Use, and Type

For this search, you should enter the active ingredient code (which you might have gotten from the first search on this page). You may also specify the product use and type. The search returns a list of products.

Set the “Registrations” field to “current” to return currently registered products only or to “archive” to return expired products only.

Select the “Submit” button to perform the search.

Use the “Reset Selected Records” button to clear all search parameter entries.

  • Products listed in the archive have expired registrations. It is illegal to sell, offer for sale, distribute, or use a product from this list in New York State unless the product has been properly registered with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Products whose registrations have been renewed will be found by searching for current registrations.
